Augers

Our augers are specially designed for drilling holes in earth, shale, clay and fracturable rock. They are built from high grade steel and feature ideal flight pitches and advanced cutting head design providing superior drilling performance.

The spiralling metal shaft with a blade at the end rotates to scrape, cut, or siphon out drilled materials. Debris from the drilled materials moves along the flighting and out of the hole during the blades rotation.

Predominantly used in the agriculture, landscaping, construction and utility industries, augers are commonly used to drill holes for pilings, utility poles, lighting posts and fencing foundations.

Our wide range of excavator mounted augers are ideally suited for groundworks, post hole drilling and preparation for piling.
